About Chaska

Digital creative and emerging UI/UX designer focused on supporting socially-innovative teams

I work with small businesses, nonprofits, educators, artists, and impact-driven organizations and projects.

Designing for Impact

I combine human-centered design with storytelling, cultural insight, and systems thinking to create meaningful digital experiences. I listen deeply, map complexity, and reframe challenges into opportunities.

My neurodivergent perspective helps me explore creative ways to connect people, stories, and systems. As I grow in the UX field, I focus on designing solutions that are accessible, intuitive, and impactful.

My UX Journey

Before I knew of UX, I was already listening deeply, noticing disconnects, translating complexity, and imagining better systems.

Today, my process builds on that foundation:
Discovery → Define → Ideate → UI & Build → Validate → Iterate

I explore community, mental health, and cultural revitalization through early-stage multimedia projects, where I apply UX thinking to understand needs and consider how digital tools might support social change.

Neurodivergence as an Asset

As a neurodivergent creative, I experience the world differently while also navigating neurotypical systems – and that adaptability shapes how I work. My strengths include systems thinkingpattern recognition, and problem reframing.

I notice what others overlook and connect ideas across disciplines, helping me design inclusive and intuitive experiences.

Multidisciplinary Creative Practice

Alongside web design, I’m also a multidisciplinary artist. My creative practice spans filmmaking, photography, music, and dance. These experiences inform how I approach design, grounding it in empathy, narrative, and a focus on people and place.
