Challenges
The Youth Innovation Prize challenge was an environmental campaign organized by the Tzu Chi Buddhist Foundation’s Young Leaders.
Considering the campaign’s audience and their use of mobile devices, the main challenge was implementing a responsive build from desktop-only specs, without losing any of the energy and playfulness of the original design.

Process
Since mobile was the main access point for the audience, we led with mobile considerations from the start rather than treating responsiveness as an afterthought. This meant auditing the desktop designs for elements that wouldn’t translate cleanly to smaller screens – button tap targets, image behavior, and layout reflow — and researching solutions before they became problems mid-build.

Results
The result is a page that feels native to both screen sizes: youthful, dynamic, and built for the way young environmental leaders browse.
